Venice day 1

so i took the title of this entry from someone else, when i went to type and i started typing Venice it already had that typed in there and it seemed to suit it just fine.

im sitting in our hostel in Venice, it is ok. not the best but for the price who’s complaining. Venice is amazing. the whole city is so confusing. its almost impossible to not get lost. i took some amazing pictures and tomorrow ill stop by an internet cafe and post some. I’m going to have my photos put on a disk when we get to Pisa on our way to Cinque Terra.

so Venice is amazing, i love all the water and more importantly no cars. we are staying right on the outside of the city, but its only a 10 minute train ride, and the trains are every 10 minutes so not bad. we ended up seeing the girls from our last hostel and they are staying with us here in the hostel here so that’s cool. we all went and explored Venice together, they are from Mexico so i was practicing my Spanish and we have become pretty good friends, so i told them im coming to Mexico and staying with them and they will teach me Spanish. they all got a good laugh out of that, but ill be laughing when i show up on there doorstep with my suit case haha..

but overall today was good, we have 2 more nights in Venice one more in this hostel and then we splurge a little and stay on the island the view is amazing, so it’ll be worth it. the money hasn’t been an issue so that’s nice, I’m going to get a cell phone for out here. to call home and more importantly get a hold of all the people we meet and so we can all meet up, a lot of us travel together so that’s kinda cool. we are meeting Angela(the girl from Rome) tomorrow and going over the next few places, she is coming with us for a while, so I’m excited for that. well I’m going to bed we had a long day and I’m beat. oh the ice cream out here is amazing!!! i eat like 3 a day, my fave is chocolate chip i love it.
