second day on the isle

for the second day it was spent mostly just wandering around, eating lots of pizza and relaxing. went to San Marcos plaza. sent out postcards to my dad, Chrissy, and Jen, i need to get my moms address and ill send hers out tomorrow. ive been looking for jeans while im out here, and its almost impossible to find any guys clothing in Venice except for the crappy touristy stuff.

so me and jay spent the day with the girls from mexico. they were so much fun. i practiced some more Spanish, I’m getting quite good. so i will definitely go out there and visit them soon. and they said they would come up so that would be cool.

overall Venice is great, super easy to get lost and you run into dead ends every where and it can be frustrating. but what can you do. my Italian is improving, it has to thats all anyone speaks i do have una mas birra pere favore. so that’s all and donde esta sirvizi, that’s wheres the toilet. i ate mc donalds for the first time in almost a year at Florence’s train station, there was nothing good there and i was crazing an egg mc muffin. such a typical American.

so tomorrow we switch hostels and go to Lido island. We have a beach so ill get to lay out and relax and then off to Cinque Terra. i just got an email from jay, a guy from new york we met in Rome. He is in Cinque Terra right now and said its amazing and everyone was right about it being the most beautiful place he has ever been too. so I’m excited.

well i gotta go do my laundry I’m out of socks and underwear… so yeah later
