munich, prague, poland oh my
well as before Zurich blew hard goat testicles, to put it lightly.. skipped out on the second day and headed to Munich to hang out with the group from interlaken..
first day got settled into our hostel, met up with em later on that night after a day of just wandering and seeing nothing really in particular. it started to rain so jay and i just went back to the hostel. after being in Switzerland and seeing how expensive everything was i loved coming back to the euro and cheapness…
we met up with all of em later that night and went to the Augustine beer gardens and drank some good beer inside this giant keg, it was great. we just hung out and had huge liter beers. we all had dunkels, loved it, and i normally don’t like dark beer. nick and the girls had to catch their overnight train to Amsterdam later that night so we all had to head back to the hostel and see them off..
the next day Derek, Jared, jay and i just hung out and really did nothing. just kinda wandered and we went and saw the fairy tale castle, the one Disney copied and used. so the tour was worthless, but it was fun.
then we had the long train to Prague. it was fun just all hanging out. they are on the krone. probably spelled that horribly wrong but who cares. so we just are having fun. its our second full day and we have a night train to catch tonight. jay went to hamburg this morning and me and the guys are going to Krakow Poland to see the extermination camp. a long day ahead of us. we are taking the overnighter and get there tomorrow at 5am and then taking another overnighter to hamburg that night to make it to the weezer concert.
Prague is fun, not nearly as cheap as i had hoped. well clothing wise, food is great and super cheap along with beer. its 25 krones to one US dollar so good times. but everything is like 300 krones so i hate having to divide by 25.
we saw a lot of what i wanted to see, its more of a place to come and go on the beer tours and just relax, but we’ve been kinda rushed but its someplace i will definitely come back to. we have basically an apartment to ourselves which is great. its really a clean place and not as bad as i had heard or thought it would be. i think Italy is much dirtier of a place. with trash on the street and stuff like that. i do enjoy it out here and i cant believe i come home in 13 days, gone way to fast but it’ll be nice to be home.
so Poland. Germany, manly hamburg and Berlin, then Brussels and Amsterdam then home sweet home. so gotta run, try and write later.
donald.
