big ass bug of the week
Now I know living in a “wooded” area has its fair share of bugs and what not. And I also know living in the desert most of my life I have lived without seeing most of these joys of nature. But good God do they give you a fright sometimes.
take this little gem of a spider
Now I am sure he means well but look at that thing! When you get up to grab a drink you dont expect to see gigantor on your wall. Well at least i dont expect to see it. I am sitting here looking over some muscles am bam! there he is!
Muscles I am looking over:
Rectus Abdominis
Origin: Pubic symphysis
Insertion: Xiphoid process, 5th-7th costal cartilagesInnervation: Thoracoabdominal nerves and anterior rami of inferior thoracic nerves
Action: Flexes trunk
External Oblique
Origin: 5th-12th ribs
Insertion: Linea alba, pubic tubercle, iliac crest
Innervation: Thoracoabdominal nerves and subcostal nerve
Action: Flexes and rotates trunk
Internal Oblique
Origin: Thoracolumbar fascia, iliac crest
Insertion: 10th-12th ribs, linea alba, pubis
Innervation: Thoracoabdominal nerves and subcostal nerve
Action: Flexes and rotates trunk
Transversus Abdominis
Origin: 7th-12th costal cartilages, thoracolumbar fascia, iliac crest, inguinal ligament
Insertion: linea alba, pubic crest
Innervation: Thoracoabdominal, subcostal, and first lumbar nerves
Action: Compresses
