It’s amazing what a little sunshine can do to your mood. I guess growing up in Arizona can spoil a guy when it comes to sunny days. I love Seattle and the weather there, but maybe not for an extended time? I don’t know. But Nashville’s weather has been hit or miss the past few days. When I first arrived it was raining and just over all gloomy. However, the past two days have been amazing as well as my mood. Just having the sun and shinning puts me in such a chipper mood. I was having doubts about school and whether or not its worth spending over a 100k to get my doctorate. I still have that fear in the back of my mind, but the way I look at it is this; Yeah its a whole pile of cash, I am basically buying a house just minus the house. BUT, this will give me a career and just general overall freedom from having to work for someone else. I might have to go a few years paying off loans, but I think in the long run of it, all this will be so worth it.
Lets see, what else… I am still lacking a kitchen table, couch, TV stand, night stand, coffee table, and a dresser. I am not really in a big hurry for any of those things, I mean the couch would be nice. I did go out and get one of those gamer chairs, they look like a crescent moon, its not bad, not something I would want to sit on for a long long time (my ass went numb after 2 hours sitting on it).
School starts Monday. Actually orientation is on Monday, but actual classes start Tuesday. I am looking forward to school and just to see if its as hard as I have heard it to be. I have my calendar filled in with my school schedule so hopefully that should give me structure.
I will throw up some more pictures as soon as the apartment changes a little bit. I will update the photo album soon with some of the pictures I have taken out here as well.
